Well im in the market for a clutch and i am struggling on which clutch to get. The centerforce dual friction or the ACT. now both clutches have received great praise but there is a tremendous price difference with the two. the centerforce runs 229 at dualfriction.com and the ACT is about 350-370. now i hear that the ACT can take more power but i dont have a turbo on my 240. so what should i get? any comments on how these clutches feel would also be greatly appreciated.

the asp pulley is nearly identical to the U/R pulley, just costs less. its pretty simple to put on just make sure you get the right size belts.

the act clutch has an upgraded pressure plate and a stock disc. the spec has upgraded p. plate and disc. the act is unsprung and chatters a lot, while the spec is sprung and does not chatter. the act holding cap. is 267ft/lb and the spec is 300ft/lb on the stage 2. you can get stages 1-4 with spec. when i talked to enjuku, they said they use to use act and they switched to spec and they are much better. give them an email and ask them your questions, they can answer them better than me.

thanx, i called enjuku and they gave me the low down. im most likely gonna get the spec stage 1, dont plan on goin up to that much torque or horses so y spend the extra on the stage 2. as for the asp pulley, what was the size of the belt that u used for the pulley? anyone have any comments on the centerforce? also how does the spec feel when you launch hard? any troubles or comments on the spec's feel?
