Center console in QX won't stay open

Has there been a service bulletin on this. Mine is starting bother the crap out of me because it always falling shut. I've search high & low but an aftermarket A/V installer says it is.

Isn't there just a hinge mechanism that would need to be replaced?

Probably..but my local dealer service dept is less than par. I just dont want them saying..o "its suppose to do that" when they have done that in the past & been wrong.

Can't..its only Infiniti in town and Nissan dealers aren't allowed to do Infiniti warranty work.

I apologize, I meant Infiniti dealer. I am shocked they are giving you a hard time about it, the service dept. at the Infiniti dealers I have worked with mega kissed my ***. Never had a problem with anything, they should be more than willing to take care of the problem for you.
