Hello, when I bought my coupe, at night I noticed that the center console does not have any lights where it shows the gears P R N D, it should be lighting orange right? Well its completely out of light, is there a way to fix this? How would I fix it, what type of lights and how I replace them? Thanks

The P R N D on the shift gate illuminates on the '11-'13 model year andthe illumination is orange on the '11-'13 model years. I'm not 100% certain if it's illuminated in the earlier model years. But I'm pretty sure they do...because an illuminated shift gate is typical, particularly on auto transmission cars that were built within the past 20 years. Moreover, you can download the FSM to determine the bulb type et cetera. :yesnod

Yes it does illuminate even on a 2008 model like mine. To fix it, you need to remove the gear selection idicator plate.
1. Separate the lower chrome piece from the gear knob with a flat head screwdriver.
2. Remove the hourglass shaped metal pin holding in the gear knob and remove the knob along with the chrome trim
3. Use a panel remover or flat head screwdriver to pry off the gear selection indicator plate. NOTE: the plastic center piece does not separate from the lower textured plastic at this point. Remove the whole assembly by prying between the textured lower plate and the center console.
4. Confirm that the gear selection indicator light is plugged in. If not, turn the lightbulb housing counterclockwise and pull.
The lightbulb will take any aftermarket T10 lightbulb. I personally replaced it with a red LED lightbulb because there was no way to remove the orange tint and now it shows a dark red instead of orange.

If there is one of those threads with pictures I would love to see it so I can understand it more, im very careful with this stuff, I don't want to mess something up!
