Hey all. I have a new 08' Rogue SL base model (no moonroof etc). I have been trying to find a source for the tray that fits in the top of the center console as found on the SL premium packages. I have contacted the dealer figuring that this may be a part or accessory that I could buy after the fact. So far I have been told that it is only a dealer package option and that there is NO part number for it and that the ONLY way to get it was to have upgraded to the premium package. (AGHH!!) I was wondering if anyone has found an aftermarket source for this part?

I have already tried Ebay and most of the Nissan parts listings you'd get by Google'ing nissan parts or Rogue parts online. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I was able to buy one from my dealership parts department. I'll see if I can get a part number for you.

You wont find anything online... at least not easily. The dealer should be able to get this part as mlmcgahee said.

Courtesyparts.com does have a listing, but thier part no's are not correct Nissan numbers but rather thier own system. If you bring this part number to your dealership, it will not work.

EVERYTHING has a part number. The dealer is full of something smelly.

The part you are looking for is

Console BoxPart no: 96925-JM00A

The dealer quoted $42.27 CDN. It is likely cheaper in the US.

The only place that appears to have it online is Courtesy Parts (see above). The Rogue is fairly new and many have not updated thier parts lists yet. I would try directly contacting one of our many sponsors on the right sidebar to see if they can get the part and take advantage of NICO discounts.

Honestly... Are you *sure* you want it? It's really kind of annoying I think - the top section really isn't large enough to hold anything too useful and it cuts into the overall storage.

Your mileage may vary of course.

Just my unsolicited two cents.

I use the top area to store CD cases (for CDs that are in the changer) as well as my iPod when I leave the car. The other lower section is where I stash the GPS (when I have it with me) while I park. It makes a good hiding spot for stuff because unless you know it's there, it's easy to miss.

The Courtesy Parts site doesn't give a picture of the item. Philipa, if I order this item are you sure that it is the item I am looking for, or is this just your best guess? I think for 20 bucks it's worth it, not sure how much shipping is or if they ship to Canada.

I am 99% sure the Courtesy Parts number is correct. It's a unique part number not shared with anything else. See Here:

It's not worth it to buy and ship from the US for such a small item. The $20 premium to buy it here may not cover shipping from the US.

Just buy it from a dealer in Canada using the part number I mentioned:

Console BoxPart no: 96925-JM00AThe dealer quoted $42.27 CDN.

I have a part # of 96925-JM00A from my dealer here in GA. The cost was $30.79 US. They had to special order it and I had it in 3 days.

AWESOME!! I tried to find the blow-apart view yesterday but hadn't located one. Thanks guys for all the help I will be calling or going to the local dealer to order the part or may call around to see if anyone has it in stock (doubt it though). I will let you know how that goes and what it costs her in CA.

Thanks again.

Hmmmm, maybe my dealer gave me the wrong part no. Either that or Canada has a different part no.

edit: I changed the part number I quoted to the correct one.

I haven't had to use the garage opener since training the home button onthe rearview mirror. Range seems not to be the same as the remote, but it works.
