Center console divider

hi, just bought a 2010 ex.

I see in the user manual that the center console compartment (with the USB plug and 3 VGA plugs) there's picture of a divider that can divide that volume of space into 2 compartments. Did anyone's car come with that "tray" that fits in there?

If not, anyone know where I can purchase one? 1 of my biggest disappointment with the EX is how the interior is not layed out well like the RDX. Like in the RDX, there's a slot for pens, etc, and it's organized very well. EX just has 1 central storage area.

When my MY10 was delivered, I found that the 'tray' was missing. So my sales guy tried to look around for one of the trays from other EX but w/out success (seems to me all EXs were missing the tray for some reason). So he grap one from the G coupe and here it is! So you don't need to 'buy one'. Just go to the dealer and tell them that the tray was missing since delivery. They should be abl to get you one. PS. Is this the 'center console divider' that you were talking about? in other words the missing tray was for another issue?

no no the missing tray is what i'm talking about. my car sales guy did the same, and couldn't find one in any of the Ex's. Maybe I'll ask him to get one out of the G's. It fits?

The G's fit, but I think there is a small difference. I think there may be a cutout in the EX that the G's doesn't have. Not sure though.

When u receive the tray, make sure that there are 2 edges that raised up from the side (shorter ends) that match up w/ the center console sidewalls (u'll find 4 slots...2 in the forward position 2 at the rear end).
