Your dealer is correct, but it is called a "One Year Adjustment Period", as per your warranty manual. I've always been a little puzzled by this because your 3-year bumper-to-bumper warranty should cover everything including squeeks and rattles, but because this can be a bit subjective there is no gaurantee the tech's can reproduce the noise and successfully eliminate it - presumably in the first year adjustment period they're a little more motivated to spend the time on these issues than after the one year mark.
As for the center console creaking, there is a Technical Service Bulletin for this for 2008 Rogue's, but the fix would most likely apply to any vehicle experiencing this noise as it's just a matter of applying some insulated tape around the base of the finish piece:
Nissan Rogue TSB No. NTB08031
IF YOU CONFIRM There is a creaking noise coming from the console finisher assembly when making turns. ACTIONS Remove the console finisher assembly. Put tape from the squeak and rattle kit on the 9 ribs located on the upper half of the console finisher assembly. See Figure 1. See this bulletin for further detail.
