center console 90-93 into a 94?

From pictures, it would appear to be yes, but can anyone tell me conclusively that the console switchplate and ashtray from a 90-93 will fit in my '94? yes, i know the switch ganging looks slightly different, but are the harness plug in connectors the same? i only want to swap out the shifter surround, window switches, and ashtray--not the whole console.

Only the upper dash would fit. There's an archived thread with pictures I posted back in 04.

Why do you want to go to the 9093 console? THered be no place for TCS/active switch as it in the 94 + heated seats.

thanks guys. gotta think on it some more.the whole idea was to keepheated seats,tcs,active switch--just put black where there is wood. ashtray profile being different seems tobe the killer.
