I just acquired a 1994 300ZX TT. The car had a small box in the trunk and in the box lay a Bose center speaker channel. I was curious if it is possible to install the center speaker with the aftermarket radio that's installed in the car right now? If so...how because I did rip off the panel and could not find any wires that would hook up into it. Thank you.

If you have the Bose system from factory the you would have had a center channel in the console under the radio, most everyone does away with these because the Zs Bose system is not the best and is rather complicated in terms of wiring. If you already have an aftermarket head unit and want to add a hi/mid channel than you will either need a head unit that has the capability or a crossover that will allow you to regulate the signal. If this is a sub then you should have no problem wiring it like any other with an aftermarket amp.

I agree with NLZ32 about the complex and troublesome bose system. Almost everyone ends up going with an aftermarket audio system. There are infinite "flavors" as to how everyone goes about reworking their audio (see my post - "Can I have some bass with that Z"). As I have a 2+2, I have a lot more space to work with, but a pic would be nice to see how you went about it (or how someone else did it).
