While this is standard on the SL with the Convienience package or so it seems. I was wondering is there a way to get this and attach it to the S model with. I don't think the seats are differant except for the quality of the cloth. Any info. will be helpful.

I'd like one as well, I wish I had arm-rests.

My guess is it won't be an aftermarket thing, but you may be able to buy the part from a body shop or the dealer and install it yourself.

Wait until the aftermarket and delay the Nissan Purchase of an arm rest. The Factory Arm rest it great for people about 3'6" to maybe 5'. Plain speaking it is much to low for the average height person. I'm 6' and I cannot reach the rest without leaving over like I'm needing a hot coffee and a bed to rest! I'm considering a way to raise the height. Think I will try two layers of 2" foam blocks covered in something that will match the trim, leaving skirts on either side & use Velcro for stability.

To me the factory arm rests are worthless except for the small tray under the lid.

I'm 5'11' and it's fine for me...

I've got long arms though so maybe I'm just lanky..

I am 5"11 as well, I find that the armrest is actually kinda in the way when I want to adjust the seat. Anybody else feel the same problem as I do?

Seems as though the "arm length" is a factor here.

Found a site offering an aftermarket armrest for the versa.http://secure.crisp.net/ecomme...6b4b7Seems like it might work? Don't have specs on quality etc. of the component but it looks promising. If anyone gets one let us know how it works.

well my first impression when i first opened the package is that it was cheaply wrapped, then i noticed that it was cheaply manufactured.installation is pretty straighforward, it takes a bit of elbow grease to push the mostly self tapping screws threw the plastic, a cordless screw driver probably would have helped.the power coating on the back of the hinge had chipped off and was rusting underneath.for the most part, it does what its supposed to and looks like a preinstalled armrest.

Besides for the little spots of rust, it looks pretty good.

No offense to zetaproducts. But I wouldn't be happy spending 120.00 on a component that has rust on it. I mean c'mon. Not good enough. Yes it is aftermarket and you can't expect OEM quality but still. Hope its sturdy. I think I might wait a little bit and see what happens after a few weeks of use.

I don't remember my OEM armrest looking that off-colored. I guess I'll have to take another look when I get it back.

I wish. The problem with it if you are short is that it's too far back to be usable. If you're short you have to put the driver's seat further forward... and then the arm rest is basically behind you, not next to your arm where it would be useful. So it is useless except as storage to me. I am 5'2", by the way.

QFT !! I'm ~5'4" and the only thing I used my arm rest for is to get adjusted in the seat.

You can get the arm rest from the dealer... When I was looking at buying my car I almost went with the S but couldn't get past not having the arm rest, because I am tall and wanted a manual. They said they could put one in for $300.
