Cell Phone Interference

Does anyone have issues with the stereo buzzing from cell phone intereference? I have a 2009 Murano LE, and like to put my iPhone in the compartment next to the shifter, but that creates a buzz through the stereo. It does not buzz if I put the phone in the cup holder.

Anyone else have this issue? Had no issues with my '06 M35

i'll try it when I get home from work...do you have the 2g or the 3g iphone? I have the 3g and keep the phone either in the cupholder, center console or on my seat...the only time I hear interference is when the phone goes to edge instead of 3g...i'll let you know when I hear when i place it next to the shifter in that cubby hole...

I have the 2G iPhone...definitely not expected.

My wife has had that happen on her '08 Altima with bluetooth. Doesn't do it all the time, but once and a while.

My car radio and TV buzz very loudly if I place my 2G ATT Curve 8310 close by.

no not me i had no problems with my iphone so far...
