cel=running lean...

my cel is on, i pulled the code and got 0171 (running lean in 1st bank).
after tinking about it for a while i came up with a theory...
this info would be coming from the o2 sensor(s)...and i occasionally smell rotten eggs after parking (which means a plugged cat)... so could a plugged cat be limiting exhaust flow and making the 2nd o2 snesor think the car is running lean???

what are you thoughts???

i did put the stock intake back in. and i have no warranty left

Did you try a cpu reset after you put the stock intake back on? How many miles are you up to?

no, i put the stock back on after i got the light. im just over 37000 miles
