cel on the other day, help

hi everyone, good to be here. i got the cel the other day and local shop pulled code for me say bank 1 sensor 1 slow response, is this sensor 1 locate before or after the cat ? so i cleared the code now the cel light is gone, but cel blinks couple times when i turn key to ON, then goes off after engine starts. kind frustrated because it's a brand new g35 sedan 6mt.

Take your brand new Infiniti to the stealership and let them deal with the problem. Use and enjoy the warranty while you can.

the problem was......... we ****ed around with muffler the other night, accidentally it sounds like a FX45 now. but then CEL light came up after beating a TL 6mt. that's how we pull the code for "bank 1 sensor 1 slow responds". any idea guys ?

If I'm thinking what you did, I know exactly what you did to the exhaust and its not going to mess with your warranty. Hell they probably won't even notice. So you like the coupe midpipe or is that what you put on. I would just double check the o2 sensors, make sure they are not damage. The sensor should be after the cat. You can't miss it.
