Hey guys i finally got my 99.5 pathfinder, i love it!!!

Well to be honest i been an owner since october 26th i LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But on to my questions...i average 170 miles before im almost E. Is this normal??

2nd, I had a CEL from i bought it. It was just an 02 sensor needed to be replaced. Code was cleared, then one night i had a tire slip light came on, then dissapeared on its own 2 days later ?

Well recently i was messing around tried to climb this snow hill i attempted really quick, but pulled off..i went on it for a second litteraly, and as i reversed out light came back???? Car drives fine!, no un usual noises.

Also what is the average mileage i should think i should have my timing belt changed?? im at 84k right now.

As for the audio question..i had a power acoustik double din in my prelude, then put it in my pathfinder. Now if i hit mute, i still hear the music faint and staticy. Also the power antenna is always up, even if i hit ipod or cd??.

Im curious maybe i shouldn't have the ground connected to the harness and just have the ground wire from the radio just on the chassis itself? Thank you for any input!

I have the Alpine IVA W205 and when I hit the mute buttom it just turns the volume down not actually mute it, as for the antenna you have it hooked up to a constant positive; just the wrong wire......

How much city driving do you do? 170 miles per tank seems kind of low.

Timing belts should be replaced around 100k, so you have a little bit of time before you need to change it.

170 miles is definitely low. I'd say you should be able to get 325 miles out of a tank, easy. The O2 sensor may be a culprit for the low mileage, especially when it's gone down this low. The benefits of changing your spark plugs can also be seen well before the recommended 60k mark. Do you know when they were last changed?

not sure what to tell you about your tire slip light; I;m not even sure what that is...

Pwr antenna - either it is connected to the wrong wire or the motor/gears are broke.

MPG - it is winter, so pumps have winter gas. Winter gas always gives you poor mpg. Also, increased idling to warm engine kills milege. Also, a heavy foot coupled with the other two reasons gives you even worse mileage. Our '04 averages 12 in the winter and roughly 18-20 in the summer.

Do you fill the tank or do you run around with mostly 3/4 or less? Reason I ask is possible water in the fuel. Any gas treatment, STP or HEET should help remove an water in teh gas and clean stuff along the way. Of course when those products are in the tank your on, you milege will be slightly down. The good news is, you should only have to use those products once every 3-4 months.

How new is the fuel filter? What about your air filter? Bump tire pressure up to 32-33psi.

the tire slip that one night was because i lost traction, but that was awhile ago.

now idk why the light is on.

i did recently put gas treatment in. idk about anyother info on this truck if new filters have been changed, i believe i bought a filter i dont remember if i didnt i think i will be buying one tomorrow!

other then that...maybe my dumbass put the power antenna wire on remote and the remote wire on power antenna..but that makes no sence cuz then why would the antenna go down after i turn off the truck???

the motor works fine on the antenna b/c with stock radio it would go down and up.

170 Miles is TERRIBLE even if it's winter, and your using winter gas. Either your literally flooring it at every single stop light, and if that's not the case you have something wrong with FUEL LEVEL SENDER/fuel tank, or your fuel gauge is BSing you. I would check how many liters/gallons go into the tank from near empty.
