Sup fellas, Is there any way I can keep the check engine light from going on with my stillen test pipes? And was also wondering if anyone has had a rattle in their y pipe after messing with the cats? Thanks, Wes.

Try calling Stillen. They should have a solution for the CEL. You'll probably need to do some troubleshooting to figure out the exact source of the rattle. That will help you determine the solution. Rattles can come from too many places.

Since the use of Test pipes on the street is a Federal and State Felony Violation of the Clean Air Act........[up to $10,000 fine].......emission tampering..... why would a MIL light bother you?

There are various cheats to fool the OBD2 system.

Watch out for [the visual part] inspectors who have relatives with beathing problems they are hard to bribe.

Any help in cheating this obdII thing? I know what code the pipes throw, just dont want to mask any other codes thrown down the line. Any help on tricking the o2 sensors? Thanks By the way, I dont have to have a smog for six years, Maybe go with some hfc's by then. Thanks. WEs

Conspiracy [Helping or instructing how] to commit a Felony is not in my Play Book.

My point was that one should not be discussing criminal activity on a WEB site which is a permanent record and easily traceable to you, in the event that future severe enforcement of these laws under a Democratic regime becomes the norm. Only California really goes after people and that is rare, just enough to make examples.

If MADD becomes Mothers against Pollution as has been proposed, jail time and car confiscation might be the result of emission tampering.

After all removing cats increases the pollution significantly like 100x.

A better way would be to just charge an impact fee for those that wish to pollute and harm others excessively.

Sounds like serious ****. On the legal side of things... Wil hfc's throw this code? Will it continue to aid a rasp in the y pipe? Looking for options to this and possibly solutions. Thanks for all the input. Wes

Noone said he's driving the car on the street...

Have you called Stillen yet? They have a customer service department that can help you with this.
