I saw my CEL pop on this morning. went at lunch to check and reset the codes. It pulled code 0304 and 0111. It said evap somethin or other and the knock sensor. Like I said I reset the codes and still have yet for the light to come back on. The car still drives fine, no reduction in mpg etc, but what do you think triggered it? any help is appreciated. thanks

According to my book po304 is cylinder 4 misfire and po111 is intake air temp. cicuit range/performance problem. When's the last time the spark plugs were replaced? As for the intake air temperature circuit, could be a bad sensor or a wire/connector?

Im sorry I should mention the codes from the OBD reader were 0324 and 1447. I was looking on the org and the codes had 0304 and 0111 next to the codes i pulled. Ive had the car since the end of July and no I havent changed the plugs. I have no idea when they were last done. Do you think I can do it myself? im not an idiot mechanically speaking, i just get intimidated when working on my max

P0304 is a cylinder 4 misfire, probably need a new injector

P1447 is either the evap purge valve, blocked tube, purge solenoid valve, etc etc etc....Page EC-386 from the link above

Now we're talking about something different. 1447 is evap. purge flow and po324 is knock sensor circuit.

That would be correct. How would you recommend I go about fixing these issues?

Audtatious has provided you with info about the P1447 and as for the knock sensor, search for the proper resistance value and check it. If you are not a DIY type and/or don't have a decent multimeter, I guess your stuck with taking it to a mechanic armed with the info gained from here.
