CEL Codes: Pending Codes?

My "Service Engine Soon" light came on a few days ago. I got my codes checked. I had (2) bad o2 sensor codes, and a pending code for knock sensor. I've never had a pending code. What does that mean? Is there impending doom for my knock sensors?

pending means that its being monitored by the ECU, if the problem persists after a set amount of cycles than it will become a code, if not the ECU will disregard it and remove the pending code.
