So a new problem occcured before I could work on anything, my A/C belt pulley is basically dying. Has anyone encountered this on a 1996 I30???

Cause it is very annoying, and I almost want to rip it off!

Thanks in advanced...

I've never been big on RHD conversions on LHD cars. The one positive--that it looks unique--is FAR outweighed by the negatives. You're on the wrong side of the car for US roads. Say goodbye to toll roads, drive-through windows, drive-through mail-drops, etc.

If it's something you're interested in doing, though, there are a lot of threads on it in the 240sx forum. It's basically the same for every car. You'll need RHD dash components, a RHD firewall which you'll weld in after cutting out the stock firewall, and assuming your I30 is auto, you'll probably want a RHD shifter so the button and indicators are on the right side. Unless you do it the ghetto way, you'll end up moving your master cylinder to match the new firewall so it's on the same side as your brake pedal.

There's a lot to it just to get your steering wheel on the other side...

Yeah, what I might end up doing is just making it a VIP cefiro. Something nice like that and drop a new engine in it.

Importing a cefiro is annoying as well, haha.

thanks!

Do it! It'd be very cool to see a Cefiro get that much attention.

Yeah importing one is almost definately not worth the trouble. Converting to RHD would just make the car annoying to drive on US roads, and the money you'd have to spend on doing that conversion could be better spent on performance or cosmetic mods.

Could be the compressor clutch. And just create a new thread for a new topic.
