I recently had the Cefiro 1-piece chrome/clear headlights installed on my car. Although they look much nicer than the stock ones, the problem I noticed is that when the lights are on they seem to be very DIM. So much so, that they are actually much dimmer than the Fog lights. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the headlights should be brighter than the fog lights. Has anyone successfully installed these headlights on a 1999 Infiniti I30? Any suggestions?

I installed the Cefiro Headlights. Purchased some cheap bulbs from autozone and they were actually working quite fine. I got tired of that and just got 10,000K HID's! and let me tell you!!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE. All the chrome reflects the light and makes the xenons even more powerful. I am constantly getting compliments!

Did you purchase the whole HID conversion kit? If so, where?

The guy that installed the headlights had to wire in the wiring harness that was included with the headlights in order to support H4 bulbs (as opposed to the stock size: H3? ). When I pointed the problem of the lights being too dim out to him, he suggested that I purchase a new, single H4 bulb and try it on, because he didn't believe there was a problem with the wiring and wanted to rule out the possibility of "bad bulbs" for the H4 that I had purchased online. I just purchased a regular Sylvania H4 Halogen bulb from Pep Boys and tried it on. It is just as DIM as the Osram Silverstars that I had purchased online, which are currently installed. Anyone have any comments/suggestions on the problem with the lights being too DIM?

I see them on ebay for around $200 shipped. Klepton sorry to hear about that light problem because I was thinking of purchasing the black housing A32 cefiro 1 piece for my black i30. Did you see the glass version? it is not a 1 piece, but they look nice too..if you stuck in a stock H4 light and it still looks dim I have no idea...the stock i30 headlights are pretty dim to begin w/ being so cloudy and the plastic even changing into a nasty yellowish color...(you can get plastic polish and buff it out a bit). Is your electrical ok?

The guy that installed the lights for me has had me running around trying different things and nothing has worked yet. I tried a new, H4 bulb and nothing. I tried replacing the stock Headlight fuses with higher-wattage fuses and nothing. As a last resort, I purchased a new set of H4 wiring harnesses to replace the possible "cheap harnesses" that came with the cefiro headlights, which the guy that installed them claims the wires were reversed. I am going to take my car to the guy so he can try the new harness and if that doesn't work I am giving up and just buying a H4 HID conversion kit and have that installed instead.

Well, the guy installed the new H4 wiring harnesses (which came with High Temp Sockets and were specifically made for High Wattage Bulbs). Unfortunately, they did not make a difference. I am giving up and will no longer waste any money on Halogen bulbs. I will look for a good H4 HID Conversion Kit. Anyone know where I can purchase a good HID kit? Also is it true that HID lights with a Kelvin rating higher than 4300K will fail State Inspection?

One question for all the people that have 1-piece cefiro headlights installed on I-30. How did you hook up the corner light harness? On the set that I have corner lights have a different connector than the stock, and I can not find a "male" connector to go in. So, basically, the only way I can think of getting the corner light to work is to cut of the stock connector and directly solder the wires onto the new 1-piece light bulb socket.

Needless to say that I would rather not do this, so do you guys have any info on the connector type that is used on 1-piece cefiro headlights for I-30? How is this connection made on your installation?

Thanx in advance.
