CD Skipping on some CDs

On my in-dash 6CD changer for the G35 I've noticed that for the past month that my CDs will skip, especially if in tray 2, 3, 4, 5. 1 and 6 are fine. It's not the CDs, as I've tried brand new CDs and all different types of CDs with the same results. It seems to be getting a bit worse now too. Does this seem like it would just require a cleaning, and any suggestions/tips on how to do that? Or will I need to get this replaced? Thanks!

I know that the 03-04 head deck has problems...if it's under warranty, I'd have the dealer look at it.

Good luck on getting that repaired at the dealer. If you don’t have any luck with them I can repair that unit for you ($225)
