cd player installation? on 96,240 sx

Will a 01'Altima cd player ever make any kinda sound in my 240 sx even thou it connects directly to my factory harness.It does work and plays cd's and tunes into radio stations does everything it is supposed to but make and transfer sound. ...do i needa switch around the speaker wires? or jus go on with some other aftermarket radio?....or mayb someone can send me a harness diagram of what wires need 2 b possibly or mayb not be switched around between a 240 & Alitima...

Aftermarket almost always sounds better. and they arent that expensive

Does the 240 have the "active" speaker set up? If so, it will more than likely never work.

a friend of mine got it to work the night i posted this message , he played with a few wires behind the radio and bypassed the amp jus for testing it and it worked. ..it's a 01"altima cd palyer, works very good and matches the interior, i dont think nobody would wanna steal this one besides an aftermarket one..THANX anyways... SCREW that "Expert Audio" guy at the shop, who told me it would NEVER EVER EVER work in my car and was useless and to take look at the aftermarket ones on his wall for a lil less than a $100, that someone in the future is probably jus gonna steal out of the car anyways....
