cd player fitment issues

ok ive hacked and cut and i still cant seem to get the cd player to fit, so what exactly do i need to do or cut more of to get it to fit? im going on day 3 trying to get it to fit. i know im making it harder than it seems. ill post pics if needed

well... how big is the player? this is the only pic i have of my old dash... but you can see the player and its in there with minimal cutting

It can't be that big. There is nothing in the dash to prevent it from fitting.Took me 1/2 hour to install and 1 hour to connect.

i finally got it in. finished about 2 hours ago. ill post pics just for the hell of it, and because it took so long. thanks for all the help.
