CD Player changer CDX-5N61W

I own a 1991 Q45. I receiived the E-99 error message on the Sony CDX-5N61W CD player console. Looking for replacement CD changer and/or ideas on who can repair.

You can try unplugging it and plugging it back in to see if a "reset" will help. Worth a try.

Otherwise, throw the sony CD changer in the garbage and get a clarion. They make drop in replacements for the 10 CD to a 6 CD, and Ive never heard of someone having a problem with the clarions.

If you need the 6 CD, let me know. I have a new one sitting in a box from Scottsdale Infinity which I would sell at a very good price. Having the same or similar problems to you, I finally ended up going to an Ipod installation.
