Get an Alpine CD player and some infinity kappa components for the fronts and infinity kappa 6.5 for the rear. I'd say you'll need the Head unit adapter from factory to install your new cd player. You can get all this for under a $500 budget considering the Alpine CD player you get is not the top of the line they make.

Kenwood or Alpine head unit with some Polk Audio speakers. Good stuff right there.

Kinda depends on your speakers, What brand/ models have you considered? With no subs and no goals for surround in you car, you'll need a four channel amplifier. Some of the best companies that make amplifiers are those that aren't rated at 4000watts per channel and will work just fine. Here is some of my favorites, if you are looking for something new.Alpine, Diamond, Rockford Fosgate. I like the lifetime warranty that is offered by diamond.

Do you mean that you are getting Kappa components, and infinti rears and a 12" sub that you are going to run off just one amp? If so you'll need something with multiple channels. Here is my favorite if I was going to do a dobly 5.1 system in my car for DVD audio.

model is D65.2 has 7 channels, 5x 60W, and 2x 70W. Awesome amplifier for an all in one system driven amp. If I ever switch from 2 amps to just 1 that would be it. Although it is slightly expensive. That is the price you pay for quality. They are designed and built in the USA, and if Installed by an authorized dealer, comes with their lifetime warranty.

Alpine also makes a theater amplifier. Here is theirs; Model is MRA-D550 here is a link to Alpines product pagehttp://www.alpine-usa.com/en/p...-D550 If you want to check it out.

If you just want to run front speakers and a sub you can use either of the two four channels I mentioned in the previous post. just bridge the rear channels to the sub only. And turn on the X-over for low pass here are links to the picture I posted. This is a cheaper option but could still result in a good sounding system.http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/p...-F545 http://www.diamondaudio.com/pr...EARCH

Happy Hunting.

I'm a big fan of Diamond Audio. I have a 12" sub and an amp that I forget the specs of. I used to run DA 361's in the front and MB Quarts in the rear. I upgraded to some nice JL's all around though. XR650-CXi's.

I have a pair of Diamond Audio 351's that I believe are 6.5" if you'd have any interest in buying them. I guess you could buy the MB Quarts too but I'm not sure what kind of condition they're in.

Glad I can help out

I don't think you'll be disappointed. They are very customer-driven, and if you visit their online community forum, you'll be able to find loads of information. Just to let you know, they're designing a NINe.5 but it's currently in the prototyping stages.

Diamond Audio is sick! My brother-in-law is running hexes and two cm3 10's. Not the top of the line subs, but damn does it sound good. I just wish I could afford Diamond gear.

Diamond is definitely my favorite brand of speaker. I wouldn't use anything else. They perform better than many others I have personally tried and compared them with others in my vehicles as well as customers vehicles over and over. I also like their amplifiers quite a bit. Sorry that some of their gear is so expensive but it is worth the price if you can afford it.
