Seems to be a common malfunction on the 03-04s. I think its something with the circuit board that it connects to or something. You'll probably have to take it in to get fixed or get a new one.

This is a common problem but if you still have warranty the dealership will replace it for free. But if you're like me and your warranty already expired, you can either pay a couple hundred to get it fixed or do a double din conversion and get an aftermarket headunit (which is what I'm planning on doing once I save enough money).

I have the same problem. The dealership failed to advise me this was a common problem and I would never have known that without this forum. The members are great. I have a g35 coupe with the nav system and the same problem, a/c system stuck with the controls not working and the radio is dead, even from the steering wheel. I checked the fuses and they appear fine. Is there a manual or instruction sheet that describes how to repair / replace it? How can I find the circuit board number to order? Also, I found a post about infiniti net but I could not find it anyway. The car has over 90K miles and I do not want to spend $900 to have the dealership correct the problem. Thank you in advance. I appreciate the input and help.

there are links to a company that will fix them for about $200.

or you can go with the double din feature and aftermaket and improve overall sound and everything.
