Hello, I am new to the club and I would like to know how I can remove the cover for the CD player without having to take it to the dealer ship. I bought the car used with 64K miles and found out that the Cd player would not work. Whenever I switch to the CD player I get CD Error FO.

common error on the bose stereo for the 03-04.

to take out the CD player you will need to remove all the facial to the left, to the right, and the little plastic cover piece for the clock and climate control window. Oh ya, you will also need to remove the gear shifting nob and remove the trip piece below the unit as well.

Good luck. It should only take you about 30 min to get to the back side of where the CD player is. The problem, though, is that your CD player is probably jammed. Since I have one sitting around, I might get around to taking it apart and seeing if its fixable. Dunno, cuz I wont be reinstalling it.

hi fellow g35 enthusiasts... long time reader, first time poster... i actually did the cd/radio swap myself awhile ago... it took me a good hour and a half to finish everything... my main hindrance was getting around the nav.. everything works fine now as it should... sweeet... a really good read was the g35ipod.com... good luck to anyone planning to do the swap themselves.. remember.. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
