Cd/DVD constantly ejecting problem

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site not sure how it works but I have a question and if anyone can help me I thank you in advance. I have a 2011 infiniti m37x on Friday February 17, 2017 I took a 2 hour drive with no problems with my vehicle but I soon as I got to my destination I turned off the car all of a sudden my cd/DVD player constantly ejecting and its empty but when I turn on the car I put in a music cd in (not burned) the music plays fine no ejecting happening but when I turn off the car it starts to happen again, it tries to ejected like every 10 second it gunna drain my battery, speaking about battery I disconnected the negative terminal and plug it back in and the constant ejecting stops. But as soon as I turn on the car it's fine only when I turn off the car it happens. Can someone please help me! Thanks again.

Welcome to the forum. That certainly is a weird one, I'll let one of our more savvy members take a stab at this as unfortunately I have no clue what it could be.

Did you by any chance look through the electronics/AV section of the factory service manual? It can be downloaded for free from this forum using the FAQ link in my signature.
