We took it back to the dealer who told us they no longer made them and that they couldn't replace the indash type - so they stuck a changer in the back (attached to one of the wheel wells) and put controls under the dash - not very attractive or convenient.
Have you had any luck with yours?

The dealer replaced mine the first time... haven't gone back yet to see if I can have it done a second. I would honestly pull out the stock deck and put a quality MP3 cd head unit in instead (which I will probably do soon) since this is my second cd changer and it broke in only 2 years. You do have to get this $45 amp bybass (pretty sure that's what it is) so that you won't get feedback in the speakers with the aftermarket head unit... that's what happened when I tried this without the $45 box before I got the first changer replaced.
The stock speakers sound much better/clearer with a headunit that puts out 20+ watts rms per channel anyway. You can actually hear the music with the windows down on the interstate unlike the stock system.
