I thought that it would be nice to have a trunk mounted changer. My HU is so equipped and was wondering if its a simple plug and play installation. Is it hard to come by the factory changer? Do any aftermarket changers fit the wiring harness?

I believe you can get a clarion 6-disc changer that would plug right in. They appear on ebay from time to time, search completed listings for "j30 clarion" or "j30 stereo" to find out the right model number.

Price has usually been around $160.
