CD Changer Issues

My Cd changer wont eject the magazine. The radio says cd error, and when i try to ejct the magazine it just makes a noise but doesnt eject.

How can i get my cds out??

I took the hole Cd changer carpeted panel off, unplugged the harness and plugged it back in, this cleared the code, but it still wont eject. So then i tried to play Cds, and the error came up again.

Try disconnecting the battery overnight and see if it won't work when you reconnect the battery. I know it sounds crazy, but has worked for others in the past.

If you do need a CD changer- I got one that is in good shape that I haven't even put into my Q45 yet. I decided to go aftermarket even thou I love showing off the power folding radio tone controlls-plate I don't own a single tape anymore...

Keep in mind not all year G50 (90-96) are interchangeable ... I kinda learned that the hard way thinking I could make a 90-93 work in a 94 Q

Just disconnect the plug to the controller unit piggybacked onto the player unit.
