So before I break down and bring it to the dealer, I'll see if anybody has any advice to lend. It's a 95 240sxse, ecu throwing a code 13(temp. control circuit), so I changed the sensor, and still have the same problem. Any ideas as to what else it could be besides the sensor. Should I try and change the harness, or should I check the coolant system, or give the dealer my hard earned money and hope they can find out. I'll take choice A.

Thanks for any help, A devoted 240 lover.

check for corrosion build up on the wire going to the temp sensor. If you see green stuff u might have to do a wire repair.

Check the voltage to the sensor connector. With the key on sensor unplugged you should have about 5volt at the blue/ orange wire and turn the key off and check the black ground wire to ground and you should have aprox. 0.01 ohms resistance. If not good check the grounds at the engine and chassie. If no voltage check engine control module connector for loose connector or bad connection or broken wire in curcuit.
