I hope its OK to mention that our two new y-pipes for the 05/06 V6 Altima are both in stock for the first time, one for A/Ts, the other for M/Ts.
These T304, TIG-welded y-pipes are designed with near-equal length downpipes to be compatable with the header manifolds we'll release in 2008, but are very effective performance parts in their own right. Dual flex sections on the downpipes leave enough room in the 2.5" tail section for an optional 3-stage Maremont Metal'Cat (the highest-flowing street-legal cat available).
Here's a pic of the AT version. The M/T version is nearly identical, with a slightly shorter front downpipe and no O2 port.:
Dyno tests on an '05 Maxima A/T show a solid 4-6% gain everywhere, 2500-6000rpm, with peaks of 10whp and 13ft/lbs tq, and this was done on the notoriously conservative Mustang-brand dynomometer. Some customers seem to be doing better than that, given the impact on their 1/4 mile times.
Really hope I'm not stepping on any toes by talking about this here, so perhaps better not to discuss prices, etc. in this initial post. If anyone's interested enough to ask, I'll be glad to reply with further information about obtaining these.
