well i hit this bump pretty hard wen i was racing my friends integra .. n i think it scratched up my cat like crazy n its leaking ..

so i was thinkin of gettin a high flow cat or just takin off the cat n go to a muffler shop n jus get it replaced with a pipe.

what do you guys think i should do?what wuold be a better choice?

if you have emmissions dont take it off completly, go for the high flowand im not sure if most muffler places will even do that, so i hear cause its illegal in some areas. that could be total b.s. though

I think when you actually look under your old a$$ car you will want to replace the whole exhaust from the cat back.Not a bad investment if i say so myself.

i already have a catback system .. i kinda scratched that up too .. n ya i have fukin gay emissions cuz i live in cali .. but im gettin the engine late this yr wen i save up n its not gonna pass emissions so im not really thinkin bout if itd pass emissions or not ..

if i replace the cat with piping .. will it hurt the motor in anyway?

if you replace the cat with a test pipe, it won't hurt the motor. its gonna be loud tho

Yeah, it won't hurt anything but MAYBE low end tourque.other than that, when I went test-pipe on my DSM, it wasn;t too much louder, but noticable
