New to this site! Keeping in mind I know little about auto ecm’s, sensors etc, etc, etc!! My question is can I replace my stopped up catalytic converter‘s with test pipes? Will it cause problems?

The easy answer is yes and don't know. Simply physically putting pipes in place of the cats is not an issue. I believe there is an O2 sensor after the second cat though and how this will be affected I don't know.

If the test pipes allow for C02 sensors you may have to install anti-foul extenders to get rid of the engine code. Otherwise it should work but the engine is not getting appropriate signals and will have a SES due to it.
