I know this topic has been brought up more than once but everyone has diff opinions. I cant use my stock catch can because of my manifold so i got CS catch but still confused on they best way it should be hooked up. everyone i talked to said the stock way is pointless. so that elimnated running it from the block to the can to the t and and then back in to the intake. so ne way i know im going to run in from the block to the t to the can but then the ? i have is where to run the other nip from the can. enjuku says to put a filter on it and call it a day. frsport in cali says run it back in to the intake. but then jgy does it totally diff. they just put a filter on the the t and have the other side go back in to the block. im doing it the way jgy does it cuz then i bought a can for nothing. but im just trying to see what everyone else thinks is the best way

i tried putting the catch can from block to cc to the t and still have oil going into my intake, so then i try from block to t to cc then to intake and still have a little oil going into the intake so i now i just put it from the t to catch can then put a filter on the other side where it goes to the intake and block the intake hole. so whatever oil come out from the t stays in the can.

sorry didnt do anything wen it was ran back into the intake.

but i see alot of people just put a filter on the other end of the catch can is that ok. or does it give off an oder.

i mean i know the correct way is to run it back to the intake but what would the difference be.

i dont notice any smell from it but its better than just putting an filter on the t. cause most likely oil will come out of the t and than come out from your filter and drip down onto you header and make a even worse smell than the cc.for me the best is from block to t and t to cc and than a filter on the other side of the cc. thats the only way oil wont get in the intake, but thats just me. other people might think differently.

I run mine to atmosphere and it emits a strong odor. If you are actually catching enough oil to have it spill out, your motor might need some help.

see thats what im worried about. is it a destinct smell or does it smell like burning oil? because if so, that would bother me because i would be smelling that and would think somthings wrong or possibly burning up.
