Catback with silencer

I have a 3" Catback exhaust with a round straight troughmuffler with a silencer in it. Has anyone found out how much hpis lost from a silencer? It seems to negate any advantage of the catback if the exhaust has to exit out an 1.5 inch outlet.

Correct.

Silencer = JUNK.

Resonator = SWEET.

nice, i just took out my silencer today to clean it, i guess ill leave it out :D

how much does it cost to get a resonator put in usually?
