I have a 3 inch greddy downpipe and then my 2.5" BRM catback. Will running 12 psi with the 2.5" catback hurt my engine? Thanks in advance for for the help.

No your good with a 2.5...But a 3" would gain you some more power,And help with spool up time..Save up and buy a 3" or 80mm exhaust system..But for the mean time your current system will be just fine..

if you are running the stock turbo I doubt you will see a gain from 2.5" to 3", save your money for something else.

it was stated that the stock t25 wont gain much from a 3inch exhaust. ur gt28r is bigger and the difference is there
