Catback exhaust for my 2000 I30

Guys, Can anybody please suggest me a catback for my 2000 I30? I hear that the I30 is slightly longer than the maxima and so the exhaust needs to be modified. Any suggestions on what route to go for exhaust? I am not looking for any performance increase - want some good noise though.

I am planning on driving my I30 to the ground - to live with it that long I need some good exhaust note.

I know this has been discussed earlier - but all related to maximas and not i30s from what I can see from the search. Also cattman and many other exhausts are for maximas upto 99 it seems.

Alright, what series flowmaster would fit my I30? I did some research online and seems like Series 30 would fit. Anybody used flowmaster on their I30? I am just looking for some noise - no performance gain is intended.

Well I went ahead and got rid of the stock muffler. Bought the pipe that goes over the rear axle, another 2 OD 18" pipe and a crome tip to replace it. Once installed, car houls like a v8 mustang at 1000 - 1500 rpm range. Gets some what loud around 2000 rpm and quiets down after that. At highway cruising at 70 2300 - 2500 rpm its barely noticeable. I am very pleased with the setup. It cost me a total of $30 in parts. Had to fabricate a hanger to hold the straight pipe.

No welding was needed, but had to bend the pipe going over the axle to adjust the position of the straight pipe. It's nothing pretty to look at but makes my 3 mile drive to work enjoyable.

Let me know if anybody has any interest in such setup. I don't believe there is any sort of performance enhancement due to this setup. I figured I will go ahead and post it anyway.
