hello

I have and '85 Nissan 720 4x4 King Cab, and I want to take the cat off. Where can I get the pipe for it?

nobody makes a test pipe for our trucks... you'll have to have one custom made

the problem with this is that most exhaust shops won't take a cat off and make one for you because its illegal.... you'll have to either find someone you know with welding tools, or maybe a performance shop

I'm pretty sure they don't make a test pipe fo the 720, but I'm sure you could fab something up or have a local shop do it for you. I had a new exhaust system put in and they cut off my cat, but they used all new piping from the manifold all the way back.

breadbox has a DIY somewhere for doing that.... i believe its in the tech section

Drop off the exhaust pipe and knock in a piece of rebar. Work it from side to side until the honeycomb is completely shattered. Start the engine before reconnecting the exhaust.
