Anyone have any suggestions for catalytic converter replacements. Car in question is a '96 NA. Thinking they are starting to go out and no way am I paying $500-$700 for direct bolt in ones. Momma is insisting we keep cats because you know NOISE...lol

I can't recommend an exact pert number but I would recommend you steer clear of cheaper low end ones. Mangaflow makes very good high flow units, reach out mto9 them and they can actually help you find the exact part that will match the flow characteristics and size requirements of the vehicle.

Lol, BIG MEATY CLAWS...LOL. I have the same problem. Just emailed Magnaflow, waiting for response. I believe Magnaflow has a weld in high flow cat from under $100 each but most seem to be 2.5" or 3". What is the exhaust diameter of an na? Is it 2"?
