Is the best goddamn road I have ever had the fortune to plant four wheels onto, though It's a shame it was in a rental Impala loaded with camping gear (That's not to say I didn't flog the s*** out of it :) )
It's a "Highway" that starts in northern Tucson, AZ and ends 9,000 feet up a mountain. Temperature differential when I was there was 40 degrees in half an hour's drive.

Nice! Im jealous of the roads on Top Gear in places like Sweden and the Netherlands. Just dream roads that you could drive on forever.

The stretch of I15 between Utah and Nevada through northwest Arizona is quite good. A high-speed winding canyon (no hairpins, but definitely not straight) descending the whole way (or ascending, if you're headed north I guess). The views are magnificent and the road is wide and well-kept. Traffic is generally light, too, so even though it's a major highway, there's plenty of room for overtaking fogeys in their Camrys.

Englewood Cliffs NJ, the Palisades Boat basin access road (to the hudson River), windy challenging, great views, rarely travelled (back when we used to drive it). My father and I used to blast his sports cars up and down those hills. Not sure the road is still there.

When i used to visit my Dad (when he lived in Sedona) i loved driving this stretch of 89a.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8NLrDD3gLI
It is best done early in the morning before all the sightseers come out and clog the road up.

Hwy 1, all the way up the coast is BY FAR the best drive I have ever made. Ocean views on one side, gorgeous mountains on the other. Roads is unbelievably twisty and rises and falls by hundreds of feet.

^Pacific Hwy is definitely the isht, I drove it from O.C. to San Diego which from what I hear/understand isn't the best part but even that part is amazing.

My vote for views and casual driving goes out to the blue ridge parkway. No street signs and development. It has endless mountain vistas. I drove this road for 50 miles last year and loved it. For spirited driving my favorite is RT 129 in deals Gap, moonshiner 28 is a good one as well.

I would love to get out to the west coast to drive pacific coast highway and other mentioned roads.

When I was stationed in Sandy Eggo, I used to go up to Riverside pretty regularly to visit my uncle. Most times I would just use the 15 up/back, but I once took route 74 between the 15 and the 5 between Lake Elsinore on the 15 side and San Juan Capistrano on the 5 side.

It wasn't like the most super twisty turny road, but man in the 240 I had, that road was a blast. Lots of nice views in a couple places.

I've heard some good things about the 74.
The 76 is pretty fun too.
Cajalco Road near my house is quite windy and fun, but I always seem to get caught up behind some sluggish Camry on there.

PCH is great, but it depends which parts you go on, but the view is almost always amazing.

I wish, I wish, for roads like this.

The Z and me steady boosting, not giving a damn who is looking.

Doing the speed limit, obeying the laws. But taking the twistys quite hard, because i'm a boss.

My Z is gripping with tein suspension, on the way to the Z convention.

With a full tank of 93 (octane) right behind me, I'm right where I want to be.

Limecreek road north of Austin TX is a really nice place to get some butthole puckering turns in, not too long but the scenery and the twisties are freaking amazing.

I came here to say this. However, in the past years many houses have been built along the road.

Oh, another one is the Hana Highway on Maui. Not the safest road to drive spiritedly on, but man is it scenic...

especially on the Cross Bronx Expressway where cars get stripped faster than a NASCAR tire change. :chuckle:

Add this one to the list: the "Going to the Sun Road" in Glacier National Park in Montana. 52 miles of unbelievable scenery.
