Hi guys,

I finally completed the conversion of my Pulsar N13 harness to accept the ca18det ECU . The engine started on the first try with a very smooth idle.

Unfortunately after a few minutes the car finished by stalling. In addition, the rpm seemed to block around 2500 rpm, so I looked around the MAF.

It seems that I have the wrong connection at the maf. After some research, I found that there were actually two ca18det MAF. One for a catalyst models and another one for models without catalyst.

For each model, the pinout seems to be as follows:

Non-type CAT

A: Manual Correction (?)
B: 12V
C: Ground
D: Signal

CAT type:

A: 12V
B: Ground
C: Signal
D: Not used

Since my MAF comes from a japanese 180SX , I assume it must be Non-CAT, because to my knowledge the JDM 180SX have no catalyst, Can someone confirm this?

Thank you for your help. Normally I should be able to run the engine properly after this problem sorted.
