I have a set of test pipes and high flow cats, and am wondering if I can cut the wires to the sensor and be ok? I will be getting a JWT computer, and from what I've read they can eliminate the cat sensor...just wanted some clairification before cutting them out....one is siezed in the cat and is proving to be a pain...

Thoughts?

Welcome to the forum!

What cat sensor are you talking about? There are O2 sensors in the downpipes, which are required for engine function.

The AIV tubes in the OEM main cats are just tubes which can be unbolted and plugged if not used (and they're not used with the JWT ECU)

The sensor is the one that is in the cat directly, I have deleted the AIV already and wont touch the actuall O2 sensor. I have read some stuff on an Austrailian 300Z site where guys just snip it off and call it good.

Probably a cat temp sensor. Is your car JDM or Austrailian?

Wouldn't be required with either ECU
