emissions where i live is nil. unless you get an inspection from a cop and have to have a saftey inspection. my questions are probably tarded but here goes; if i remove my cat will it throw a code and is there any side effects(rough idle,etc.) all my other cars have had them removed but i am curious about the after removal effects on this car(91) my search turned up good info but i admit i didnt get very far. any info on this is greatly appreciated. thanx

it will smell , and possibly stain your bumper..... not sure about idle

it will sound better and perform better, and unless your running fairly rich it won't stain your bumper
