Since my SR doesn't pass smog at all. is there any advantage by using a Cat rather than just a straight Test Pipe?

If you just feel better about polluting less, use a cat, no real advantages except to the environment.

**** the environment, if you really cared you would ride a bike. stupid hippies. anyway why not net yourself more power for the same price and get the test pipe. thats what i did

test pipe is definately the way to go, cat drains power and can foul up.
