i would stay legal and go with high flow cats.I don't think you'll gain that much more deleting them and then you have to worry about smog checks.Stilen exhaust sounds great doesn't it?!?

Were you a member of CRSX i also had a Type-S before the G so just curious? I was a one of the major Dallas TX group members (D-DC5) but back to the original question I want to know the Pro's/Cons of Test Pipes besides the point of smog tests because im in the military so ive got 2 years before I have another one and when i go back home that wont be a problem anyways (connections)

No Hondas in my past. I've always had mustangs and camaros.thats what got me going on smog checks. I had a completly illegal Z-28 that a "buddy" was faking a smog check for me when the shop got raided by dept. of consumer affairs in CA. they kept me there for 4 hours and then flaged my car for state inspections for life...... bad experience...

haha yeah i figured i would see alot about smog on that ? haha. if theres not a big incrtesses in power then im sticking to the hi flow cat. I have enough trouble with cops around my area, ive only had my G since December and ive already had 3 random pull overs cus "a 22 year old looks suspesious in a car like this" haha as funny as it is that they are all that jelous of us, its annoying and one day ill get wrote up for all the randoms.. no front tag, tint, noise violation for the exaust, last thing i need is smog check lol. and yeah I was in a RSX group but nothing on a web site, just a crew here in DC i would ride around with.. good times and i know Honda in and out and still love em....... but the g....... well yeah to amazing to stay with honda haha

I recently saw a magazine article with dyno comparisons of test pipes vs high flow vs stock.

The car was a Civic SI. The high flows gained like 6hp, the test pipes gained 7hp. The gain wasn't worth the legal aspect AND the fact that you're making the air toxic.

FastIntentions.com I just order my cat back from them. Now I have a full exhaust from the headers back. Waiting for more options on headers
