Can anyone shed some light on this matter. I think an upgrade in the exhaust area is due with petrol prices going up, efficiency is the word.

Cat-back will likely help your fuel problem more than Headers.

The general concensus on this board is that headers for the G aren't worth the money and the headache of install.

A cat-back for your sedan would probably yield better gains. So would swapping all your lubricant to synthetics.
