Castrol Syntec okay for my SR20DET???!!!

ok so i didnt know what to get and i had to pick one because my car was below low on oil and i didnt wanna drive the car home without oil obviously. So i picked up a full synthetic motorl oil and brand is Castrol Syntec. Is is good enough for now or????

Youll be fine. Just run 10w30 of whatever oil you use. I use Mobil One Full Synthetic in my RB and Valvoline VR1 in my SR (Built Motor Recommended for the ACL Bearings). If you change oil every 3k miles, any 10w30 synthetic oil will work fine.

do yourself a favor and run 10-40 its insurance. yes you might loose about 1.5hp but who cares when over 2k is at risk.

ive been running castrol syntec 10w-30 for almost 5 years in my SR. its been beaten on in hot and cold. i change it every month, or after a drift event. never had any problems.
