Here is a link to an ebay auction for a cast turbo manifold.

Has anyone ever used one of these? Are they worth the $229.00 price?

the only thing i can think would be a problem is bmc clearance.

^^ Dead on again.

Those turbo manifolds are the Treadstone style manifolds. They are meant to be used with an on center turbine housing. In short, on center turbine housings suck balls.

They may be a new turbine housing out that is physically close enough to an on center housing however is still functions as a tangical turbine housing(good). Im not 100 percent on this you need to do your own research but i remember being thrown off by a recent turbo that i sold thinking it was on center because of its design when it was in fact a tangical.

I could also be butchering the word tangical, idk.

I have a tread stone and I like it. When I was LHD I rocked the motor with custom motor mounts and a modded shifter. Now that I'm RHD it is awesome. It does seem to spool quicker then a tubular style I had so I switched back to it. If yours is like mine then depending on the turbo, you can use it fairly easy as a bottom mount setup.

I think the word you're looking for is Tangential, as in tangent to a curve.

That manifold, the treadstone, and the revhard manifold all look exactly alike. Do they all just rebadge some other company's mani and sell it as their own? Cause all of those look identical.

I have a T3/TO4E Garret/KKK hybrid with a V-band turbine housing. So it is a standard turbo with a 3" down pipe and it did touch the bmc before I made custom motor mounts to rock the engine.

I'd buy it, stick 1-2 hockey pucks under the drivers side motor mount and press on. Cast mani's are tough as nails and lasy forever and I have yet to see one crack.

That plus a used Holset = win.

You drill a hole through the puck and put it between the MM and the bracket on the motor. It rotate the engine to give you more BMC clearance.

Not sure if thats to good for your transmission mount lol, but w/e.
