cast iron is much more durable, stainless looks nice and would be a little lighter

^^^ Did you slot betwen the runners and expand the bolt holes?

(I did, and have had ZERO trouble from it...with ~15,000 miles of abuse.)

( PS: Did you get that ECU...? )

slot between the runners?

are you refering to cutting the flange

how does that contribute to prolonged durability?

Allows expansion of the individual runners...same goes for opening up the bolt holes. When you get a RevHard, it barely slides over the exhaust manifold studs...so when it goes to expand, it has nowhere to go...so it cracks. Open the bolt holes, slot the flange between the runners...and everything can expand and contract a little, so less chance of cracks.

The more room you aloow for expansion, the longer it will last.

exactly what :: orion :: said. i cut the flange between the runners, drilled out the bolt holes, and also ported out the ports (they are centered perfectly with the head ports). i've had my revhard on for over a year and 17k miles also with zero problems

looks around ebay and the forums. they go for anywhere from $250-350.
