cas wires

i'm just wondering if i can run a tach signal wire directly from the cas to my tach,afc,etc. if so, is there any risk of damaging the cas by doing this, and is the white wire the one that i need to tap?

someone told me to try the white wire too but it didnt work , i dont know about the other wires.

isnt there a RPM signal wire from ECU that you can tap from?

yes of course but for some reason my tach is not getting a signal from it. I explained this in other posts and i don't feel like describing the situation again. it's all wacky. i'd just like to know if i can safely tap into the cas wire(s) to get the signal...

i bought an msd tach adapter
